Transitions
Our story & inspiration
At Mindful Health TBI Center, we believe in developing relationships with our clients that consists of compassion, trust and collaboration. We specialize in treating folks going through life transitions from relationships ending, copying with changes experienced after a Traumatic Brain Injury, career/lifestyle transitions and more. Often times, experiencing a trauma is a significant part of these challenges, and an area of specializations for our clinicians. While any ‘new normal” can be distressing, we believe that with the right tools and support. you will be unstoppable… it’s our job to help you believe that, too.
Our center inspired by this story: There was a professional athlete who gave everything he had to his sport, his team, and those who depended on him. His dedication was so strong that he pushed beyond the limits… leading to a Traumatic Brain Injury. Eventually, the folks he worked so hard for TBI and now experiencing the depression and anxiety of the most difficult transition of his life. He struggled with this until he finally found the right treatment. Through the support, education and validation he received in therapy, the transition was made. He regained a sense of self, understood his worth as a person, not just an athlete. This experience inspired him to encourage others to get the help they need by creating a mental health center that understands.
